Whether you are walking to the local shops, taking the dog around your favourite park, or going bush, every step you take can help raise money to fund vital programs for youth mental health, supporting young people where they live, learn, and grow. Along the way, you’ll challenge yourself, connect with others, and spend time in places that remind you why this matters.

Register
Sign up for yourself, or start a team. Choose a walking or hiking goal this April — whatever suits you! A local trail, weekend hike, or your daily stroll. Walk wherever and however you want!
Spread the love
Share your fundraising page with friends, family, and colleagues. Every conversation helps break down stigma and starts meaningful discussions around mental health.
Raise money
Ask your community to support your challenge. Every dollar raised helps fund early intervention and mental health education for young people.

Young people growing up in regional communities face higher rates of mental health challenges and fewer support services. Without early help, small problems can quickly become overwhelming. Sadly, mental ill-health in young people has increased by more than 50% in the last 15 years.
You can help just by walking! Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a daily dog walker, every kilometre you cover this April can make a real difference.
Funds raised through Hike4Life support Live4Life’s award-winning programs. You can help give young people the skills, confidence, and support they need to look after their mental health — and each other.

What is Hike4Life?
Hike4Life is a fitness and fundraising challenge. Hike or walk this April and you can help prevent suicide and improve youth mental health.
When and where is Hike4Life?
Hike4Life runs for4 weeks from 1–28 April. You can choose to walk wherever you like! In the city, on walking tracks, or even up a mountain! Getting out there and participating is all that matters.
How much does it cost to register?
Hike4Life is completely free!
